Amazing, beautiful city! Even though the only things I can say are “please” and “thank you” in German, it gets me by. Probably because pretty much everyone speaks English. The architecture is absolutely beautiful. People play accordions instead of guitars. Locals stay out at the bars until 5am. All the ladies wear boots. Everyone and their dog smokes cigarettes.

Here, it’s okay and common to be stared out… creeped me out at first, but I’m use to it by now. I get is most because I’m BROWN and exotic looking in this city, so I’m not what Austrians are used to seeing walking the streets of their city.

I’ve been here 5 days and it’s really nice, but I’m ready to go home. I’m not exactly homesick, but I’m ready to go home. Definitely, a great way to spend my 21st birthday and spring break :)
